wOOT!

At :55, add more treble drum elements such as some kind of snare instead of dropping some of the synths. The synths are excellent, keep that that stereo effect. Change the synth that enters at about 1:09 to something that sounds less 8-bit. Make it a little longer, too.

This is awesome, don't drop this idea!

Thanks a ton for the feedback! Glad you enjoy it so far. I can't wait to finish this up, but it will have to wait for this long week of tests first...

great little track

All this needs is a good all encompassing steroized bassline to come in at about :40 ansd this song will kick butt.

The synths were beautiful and well placed and the breaakbeats were nice and groovy. This is an awesome track that loops great, too. This would make for great menu music.

Thumbs up!

Syntrus responds:

good suggestion just looking for a good bass vst.

this is new

I liked how minimalistic it was compared to other Tetris remixes, it threw me off at first. I like how the bassline takes on the melody at a minute in, and how you take elements of the percussion for parts of the melody.

Very unique, I enjoyed it very much.

Thanks- whata insightful review!

nice ending.

Not whiny enough.

TheLameChildren responds:

Oh have I a treat for you. Song 100x whinier than this. Just you wait ;)

Too compact

I loved the beginning. It has a way of just starting the song before you expect it to, which sounds great. Unfortunatly the beginning was the only part I liked. The song just flew off in a totally random direction, and the mastering was terrible. There's clipping everywhere. The drums that enter at :38 sounded very out of place.

What you had at :15 seconds was awesome, you should have kept the song going like that. At least, you should have tied the song together and kept some kind of melody throughout the song.

How much time did you spend putting this song together? It sounds like you made this in under an hour.

SuperSamich responds:

Thank you for telling me what you think, and pretty much took me about 10-12 minutes to make this song.

Hats off to you!

Get this out of the dance genre, this song is pure House! Everything about this is awesome, and what you did with stereo is nothing short of masterful. Choice of instruments great, beat addicting, synths lively and awesome, this is one of the best amature made songs I've heard in a long while. I have only one problem, and that is that your song faded out at the end. Fadeouts are kinda lazy. You need to give it a real ending. Other than there is absolutely nothing wrong with this song.

SupraDarky responds:

Yeah I'm really not sure what genre this is that's why I put it in Dance. I guess I could change it to House! Thanks for the good words, and yeah I went with the fadeout because I didn't like the 2 or 3 endings I had made.
